Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Manager 9438Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead their Accounts Payables department.
ResponsibilitiesManage the full-cycle of the accounts payable process and Installer Payables including processing/approving/vendor paymentsPrepare and present weekly reports on the accounts payable status to senior managementPrepare and submit monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in a timely mannerManage and motivate the accounts payable team to achieve departmental goals and objectivesEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state and federal regulations related to accounts payableIdentify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracyEnsure compliance with all internal controls and accounting policiesEnsure department milestones/goals and metrics are metMaintain and update vendor master metadataPeriodically review master data including W-9 compliance, prepare 1099 reportingAssist with monthly business tax reporting and license administrationAssist in month-end close and annual audit processOversee all Accounts Payable staffIdentify problem vendor accounts and resolveIdentify and reconcile discrepanciesStreamline processes to increase organizational efficiencyRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldFive years of experience in accounts payable, including supervisory rolesProven work experience as an Accounts Payable ManagerStrong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulationsAbility to thoroughly research, analyze and reconcile company-wide financial documentsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projectsAdvanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferredExperience using accounting software and/or ERP systemsExperience managing a team of accounts payable professionalsAbility to mentor/develop and influence a high performing teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills#IND#ZRAbout the Company:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
